From Cambridge: travel south on State Hwy 1 to Karapiro (approx 10kms). Turn right into Hydro Road, drive through the village and across hydro dam. Turn left. Road becomes Maungatautari Road. There is a sign for Gate 3 at the Lake Karapiro Complex, the driveway for number 642 is opposite this. Turn right up steep drive, take left hand of the Y and you will see a sign for Stuart & Colleen. Drive a further 1km, take left hand of Y (name there again) and follow drive up hill. From South: turn left at Karapiro, approx 10k
